tacit (adjective). implied but not spoken

August 8, 2008

I realised after signing out of my weekly dose of MSN, I had failed to write a new post on this blog.  Hence, I am here now with just a few quick words.

Needless to say, the Trials have begun at Hurlstone.  The past two days that have been allocated for the two English Papers, sucked.  AOS decided to be a paper of codes to be decipered.  It was difficult to come up with a half-decent response.  Modules were a bit more merciful, one generic and two specifics – Woo!
Nonetheless, I am completely relieved that they are over and done with , allowing me to focus on what is to come in the following two weeks:

  1. Mathematics (Advanced)
  2. Chemistry
  3. Mathematics Extension 1
  4. Agriculture
  5. Legal Studies

After the Trials are of course a period of dates to be fulfilled. So lovers: get ready for some Maggie-time! :D
I shall sing to you; hug you; take photos with you; have coffee/lunch with you; shop with you; and have some you-time with you! It shall be fun!

I have some photos and Polaroids to upload, but I shall do that at a later date; they are of course subjected with my beautifuls, and some other things which I forget (all I have in my head now is Jason Mraz’s I’m Yours).

On another note: Some people are completely blinded by their actions and the impact it has on others.  I wish these people will open their eyes, and see the damage they are doing.  It is unnecessary and completely ignorant.  Next time you plan to say something even slightly offensive, please use a bit of tact in the delivery of your tacit comments and opinions; otherwise, I think it’s best if you say nothing at all.

To end, I would like to finish with Nike’s advertising slogan:

Just Do It.

I can’t think of a more ingenious quote that is conveyed in less than 5 syllables.  The summation of this quote, although idealistic, reflects how everyone should live their lives.  There is no need to hold back, constrain and restrict oneself from feeling, and it is okay to be selfish for one small instant, isn’t it?
A small moment of lost inhibitions is sometimes necessary for the realisations and revelations that need to be spoken of, so there is no need to be considerate when trying to obtain your own sense of happiness and contentment, is there?
Just forget about the world for one minute, forget about the repercussions, and confront whatever it is you have to say/do; I promise you, you’ll feel tonnes better (kinda like when the BOS lady announced “Pens down” after today’s Paper!). So … Just do it.

Wish I was more like Reila.  She is awesome.  I aspire to be like her when I grow up (even though she is a mere 8 months older than me).  Carefree, liberal, lover, beautiful, direct – I love her.

P.S: Sorry for the brevity of the post; I really wanted to delved into another issue, but I wanna post before it it 12:00am.

P.P.S: I think a recognition of the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony would be appropriate before it is the 9th August (:

P.P.S: I have one whole minute to spare! :D

Maggiesnail waited. The lights above her blinked and sparked out of the air. There were spammers in the forum. She didn’t see them, but had expected them for years. Her warnings to WordPress were not listened to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Maggiesnail was an active blogger for several months now. When she was young, she watched other bloggers and said to her dad “I want to be a blogger daddy.”
Dad said “No! You will BE KILL BY SPAMMER!”
There was a time when she believe him. Then as she got oldered she stopped. But now in the database of the WordPress she knew there were spammers.
“This is WordPress” the radio crackered. “You must fight the spammers!”
So Maggisnail got her b&hammer and blew up the post.
“SHE GOING TO BAN US” said the spammers.
“I will flame at her!” said the cybertroll and he fired the rocket flames. Maggiesnail luckily blocked it with her firewall and b& at the cybertroll, trying to blew him up. But then the blog crashed and they were trapped and not able to b&.
“No! I must b& the spammers!” she shouted.
The radio replied “No, Maggiesnail. You are the spammers”
And then Maggiesnail was a troll.
