Taking your bike on a CityRail train

If part or all your journey is made between 6.00am and 9.00am or 3:30pm and 7:30pm on weekdays, you must purchase a child ticket for the bicycle as well as a st for yourself.
This applies to standard, folding and partly disassembled bicycles.

    LOL

  2. DEEE Says:

what happens if you make the child carry the bike

  3. Dennis Says:

That is just disgusting. The Herald last year reported about a case where a bike rider was fined for not purchasing an extra ticket. He was exempted because the judge saw that bike-and-train commuters would be deferred from making an environmentally-conscious choice should CityRail continue with this ridiculous rule. I certainly hope we won’t have to see this caption on the back of future tickets. >=(
